Daniel passed away recently. Early thirties, marathon runner, singer, no risk factors. Daniel went from healthy to death in 5 months…his disease detected late, now his life ended early!
Several weeks ago, I introduced you to Daniel. One of my coworkers in Nashville became acquainted with Daniel’s story through a mutual acquaintance at one of her dentist’s office there in Nashville.
I continue to read his blog to follow his daily (or almost daily) journaling. His blog entry is sometimes humorous, sometimes tear-jerking, but ALWAYS faith-filled. Today, he says it took him several hours to type as he described his first round of chemo and radiation therapy and the overall battle (like Jacob wrestling all night with the angel, it seems) that he is fighting with every ounce of courage, faith, medical and emotional therapy he can. Invisalign-It’s Never to Late to Straighten Your Smile!
If you’re like most people when you hear the word “Orthodontia” the first thing that pops into your mind is a picture of yourself (or someone you love) with braces on, those crude metal clips and wires that look like something out of the middle ages.
Perhaps that’s because you have never heard of Invisalign® – the clear alternative to braces! Invisalign® is an orthodontic technique that uses a series of clear plastic, easily removable aligners to straighten teeth. The aligners are made from thin, see through plastic which are worn for 20 hours per day.
Every two week you advance to a new aligner for the next phase of treatment. Each aligner is specifically designed to move a tooth or small group of teeth. One of the great things about Invisalign® is that Dr. Johnson has the ability to create a computerized 3-D model. This model of your teeth will show exactly how Invisalign® will change and straighten your smile over the course of your treatment. This sophisticated proprietary software allows Dr. Johnson to review your treatment plan aligner-by-aligner and make corrections before your treatment begins. Dr. Stacy Johnson Leads A Medical Team To Equador
Dr Johnson along with his wife, Jeanine, his son, Jon Ross, and 15 other people representing Grace Assembly of God in Whiteland, Indiana, Ministered alongside missionaries, Paula and Lana Duda June 5th through the 13th, at the Church Aposento Alto, in Quito, Ecuador. The team consisting of a Physician, two Dentists, an Optometrist, and several nurses and support staff saw 860 patients, with 164 of those patients accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
Twelve years ago Dr Johnson visited this same church, with a similar medical team. At that time the team purchased the adjacent property for $2200. Since that time construction teams have built an adjoining school which currently houses 110 sponsored students, and a weekly feeding program for over 300 indigent children in the neighborhood.
